Vacation trips are a great opportunity to give the body time to rest and recharge batteries, but for many, exercise and an active lifestyle are such an important part of everyday life that working out is also part of the vacation program. Often, the holiday is a lightened week, when the movement is more relaxed and less goal-oriented — but nice to do. Depending on the length of the vacation trip and your own preferences, this can mean gym visits, long walks or a light workout.

Holidays are a great opportunity for us to give the body time to rest and recharge its batteries. When traveling on vacation, we do not follow a strict program, as the level of equipment of the halls varies. Instead, we focus more on feeling-based training, which makes you sweat and makes you feel good. In addition to this, we often walk a lot in the resort while exploring new places. In this way, exercise naturally blends into the holiday and brings light activity to the day.

Walking in Nature — Jogging and Active Days

One of our favorite ways to move around on vacation is jogging in new landscapes. It's great to experience new environments while running, and at the same time get to know the sights and nature of the area. We often look for beautiful nature reserves or parks where the scenery is stunning and running is pure pleasure, while offering great experiences: New landscapes, interesting trails and scenic spots bring a whole new zest to the workout. Walking on vacation is also a natural part of the day when exploring the city, shopping or enjoying the sights of the destination. Thus, activity becomes part of the holiday as if unnoticed, and at the same time the accumulated steps keep energy levels high.

Eating on Vacation — Enjoying Food

Although in everyday life we strictly adhere to different diets, we are culinary specialists. For us, food is one of the most important things on a holiday trip. On vacation, we let go of everyday diets and give ourselves permission to enjoy delicious meals, new taste experiences and local delicacies. As a culinary specialist, we are always looking for the best restaurants where we can taste different dishes and enjoy a glass of wine — this is part of the holiday enjoyment. At the same time, exercise balances eating, because after activity, food is enjoyed even more.

Self Cooking and Local Ingredients

Often we choose accommodation with a kitchen. This gives you the freedom to cook your own meals when you feel like it while saving money. One of our favorite trees is to tour the local grocery stores and explore the offerings. We can easily spend an hour between the shelves of the store exploring, experimenting and selecting ingredients and brainstorming what delicacies we could cook. At the end of the trip, we usually change the accommodation to a good hotel with an excellent breakfast. This allows us to enjoy the hotel's rich breakfast, which is the perfect decision for a holiday.

On vacation, you should listen to your own body and mind. It is important to let the body rest and enjoy delicious food without a bad conscience. Exercise is worth doing if it brings joy and well-being, but it is equally important to enjoy freedom and new experiences.
